I’ve taken the time over the last few weeks to stick the Nova’s nose into the cool autumn air as often as I can. For some reason, the season-winding-down get togethers at this end of the calendar just seem to be less hectic and more enjoyable. Mavon always used to tell me how she loved this time of the year, and I have to admit that over the last few years I’ve begun to appreciate her viewpoint. Fall driving is fun, and when you’re blessed with one of those million-dollar days – you know the ones – you just have to take advantage of it by hitting the road. Forget about the leaf-raking, the other mundane chores around the house. They’ll wait.
So while we cram in the last of the midweek DQ cruises and put the shows of the season behind us, we know that fall is here. Enjoy it the way it was meant to be enjoyed – behind the wheel!
